LONG OVERDUE UPDATE!

Well, I decided since Keather updated her blog, I would do the same thing.
So... Right now I am on the search for another job, AGAIN. I absolutely can't stand this place. Emma is potty training right now, and she is doing pretty good so far. She only wears a pull up at night. She is such a mess! She says a lot right now. And its funny when she starts saying something new, and I can't understand what it is and she gets so frustrated. This week she started saying "Boo Bok" and I couldn't figure out what it was so I told her to show me. She grabbed my hand and said "Come Momma" and took me to the fridge so I opened it. She pulled "her" drawer open, where I keep her drinks and took out a "juice box" and showed it to me and said "Boo Bok". I said say "Juice" she said "juice", then I said say "Box" she said "Bok" and we did that a couple of times and I pointed at the drink and asked "Now, what is that?" she said "Boo Bok!". I just laughed because she was so serious and knew she said it right! Emma and I are going to see "Seusical" this month in Tuscaloosa. My friend Shara's cousin is in it, so we decided to tag along. Hopefully Emma will like the singing and dancing. The family is going to Gatlinburg this July for a whole week! Don't really know what we are going to do for a week in Gatlinburg. Chris just said we were going to drive around and see what we find. I do know that we are going to the Dollywood Splash Mountain and also The Ripley's Aquarium so Emma can see the fish. Other than that I have no idea what we will do the other 5 1/2 days! Well hopefully I will have a new job by the time I write again. I will also add some new pictures of Emma and the family.

Well...

So these are some of the newest pics of Emma Grace. Of course we didn't buy the one of her picking her nose, but I thought it was priceless! Everything has been going well with us. Emma has 12 teeth and I just love to hear her say "teeth, teeth!" She is getting so big and is so VERY independent. She loves to just bounce around the house and jump up and down and scream and it is so funny because she does it when she is really excited. She makes us laugh everyday. She is just a joy to have. I love her so much. Well that is all for now, I have to get back to work.

Just an Update!

This is a picture of Emma the first time I put her hair in Pig Tails. They actually lasted about 4 hours. She was so darn cute!!! I also have put her hair in the Pebbles look, the one pony tail on top, and that was adorable too. She looks so different with her hair up though because I am use to it being just a mess of curls. She is in a fun stage right now. When she gets very excited she just stomps her feet and goes around in circles. She acts like a cheerleader at times and claps her hands then smacks the wall behinder then brings her hands back around and claps some more. When she is funny and we laugh at her she covers her mouth with her hand and giggles into it. SO PRECIOUS!! There are times though when she has a big ol attitude. If you tell her "No" she crosses her arms and "harumphs" and turns her head away. Oh YES!! BIG OL ATTITUDE. I have NO idea where she gets that from....must be her Daddy!

Elizabeth is coming for a visit this Friday. Keather is going to India to meet Brian for the week. So Emma has a week to corrupt her little cousin and send home Elizabeth with new habits and attitudes. I hope her Mommy and Daddy won't mind...

Well thats about all. I hate my job still and I don't think that will ever change. I told the female attorney she just needs to quit here and open up her own firm and take us girls with her. It would be soooo much more peaceful...! Yeah I know whoda thought!!

Fun in the Sun

So here are some pictures of Emma's first trip to the beach. Her daddy was trying to get her used to the sand because she HATED it!!!! The next is her playing in her float in our hotel room. Then me and the youngun on the beach and her in the pool!!

First Entry!

So I decided to use this site since Keather uses it too. Chris and I just got back yesterday from a weekend in Gatlinburg with a couple of friends. Mom and Dad watched Emma. Mom said she is just so funny, which she very much is, but that she also had a bit of a bad time. It seems that she is teething again so she is not a very happy camper! Mom was worried that she was getting sick because she has a runny nose and is VERY cranky! ( I know... not my lil girl, right?) But this is what happened last time she had all the teeth coming in. It just wasn't as loud before. She has mastered the art of using her lung power! She is currently being watched by a friend of mine. I hope to be able to put her in a daycare when she is potty trained. I can't really afford it right now but this arrangement is fine for now. She is with 2 other children, both boys and both 3 years old so at least she has other children to play with. Not much else is happening right now. When we went to pick Emma up from Mom and Dads she was running around CRAZY! Mom said she hadn't been doing that until we got there so she was just VERY happy to see us. It was so funny because she was just running on her little legs and babbling while she ran. Well once I figure out how this site works I will put pictures on here.
